Installation tips:
1. If your BMW E46/M3 only come with CD player and radio in the dash, the installation is very easy, just need to take out your original CD player/radio, and then connect the power cable with our bmw e46 dvd, then push it back into the dash, and relocate the air conditioning unit under our e46 navigation where the storage compartment is(a relocation kit is not necessary), that's all. 2. If your BMW E46/M3 come with a wide screen in the dash, or with factory e46 GPS navi system in the dash, we will send you a 6m long power cable to connect the 17pins or 40pins connectors in the trunk, besides, if your e46 has amplifier, you need to connect a yellow wire with your 12v+ car battery and a black wire with GND to get power to your amplifier, learn more about how to connect these wires: how to get power to amplifier

Note: If there's a wide screen in your car's dashboard, our unit may not support your harman kardon amplifier in the trunk, according to our experiences before this bmw e46 navigation dvd player can support harman kardon sound system with 98% possibilities, in case there's no sound after installation, you can connect our 8 speaker wires with your 8 speaker wires for each car door speaker directly, and our unit has 4x45w amplifier built-in. If your BMW E46 just has regular CD and radio in the dash not with a wide screen in the dash, the E46 DVD unit is plug and play for installation.

I bought a BMW e46 navigation unit for my 02 BMW 323i and it fitted nicely in the dashboard. The system functions as described and the screen has excellent excellent resolution particularly when viewing a DVD. Playing music from my smartphone is also very easy as is operating the hands free module of the device. Q: I just bought a 2004 330 CI convertible E 46 with her businessman CD, it says it’s wired for phone, cd changer, although there is not one in the trunk. It has the harman Kardon hi -if so I’m guessing it has an amp somewhere. I was reading through your stuff and it says The amp will not work? Is that correct? Also the battery is in the trunk if that matters. How are usually I have not been able to figure everything out yet but desperately want to be able to use my phone when driving the car.

A: If your BMW e46 comes with business CD without a 7' screen in the dashboard, our unit is compatible with your harman kardon amplifier. You can pair with your phone through bluetooth for hands free phone or bluetooth stream music.
Q: i bought a car with unit in car took it out to install in my convertible cant get the steering wheel control to work it has the interface modual on your wiring harness also great fit and look great unit i want to buy one for my x5

Q: I see everywhere you claim that a climate control relocation kit or bracket is not needed. Are you removing the double single DIN frame on the original Business model? I am not able to fit the climate control panel in with the frame there. I notice in your install pics that frame is missing. Does the head unit just screw to the dash where the frame mounted?

A: Hi, you can just push the climate control panel into the position where the storage compartment is if you don't use a bracket to relocate it. Actually, most of our customers installed this BMW E46 navigation without a relocation kit.

A: Hi, this car dvd player for BMW e46 can fit your 2003 BMW 325ci as well, you can just put the air con unit under our double din e46 unit where the empty compartmetn is, we have never provided any installation kit for the past years because that's not a necessary part for installation. Q: I have a 2002 325i, I'm interested in this unit but to me it looks like it wouldn't fit due to the layout of my current business cd system and the temp,airflow,air 'speed', and a/c buttons. Will this system work? Will I have to re locate the other buttons?
